hey there, new to this group but you all seem to know your stuff 
we just took out all the galv (except for the couple feet coming into the house from the well) and installed 1/2 pex everywhere. we do have a pump which is on the way to the far/ guest side of the house- our master is right off the well, before the pump. we used to have normal water pressure in the master bath- but since we eliminated some of the 1 and 3/4" galv that was running about 15-20 feet to the master, the pressure has dropped significantly- while it seems to have increased to the rest of the house.
we followed the same basic pattern it had before, which included a downstairs kitchen (for now, which the lines are run to but plugged since we don't have the cabinets, dw or sink installed again yet)...
any ideas why this would change things so much and how to fix?
then next, we have to replace the shower fixtures for the master bath because they are old galv- and in updating all of this, want to add a second shower head for a his and hers...now i am unsure if i need to 1. go back and run 3/4 to increased pressure, 2. maybe have a small second pump (if there is such a thing?) or 3. if we now can't have 2 showers heads at all because we're just lucky our "new" house is that awesomely stupid...
