My name is Andrew Israel and I am the VP of Sales for The Utter Guys in Sanford Florida. We have been in business since 1981 and are one of the Southeast Largest Power Tool dealers. We have been a Festool dealer for a about 1-1/2 years and have been very impressed with the product line. Most power tool company build products based on price and not quality. Festool has a niche as they are a superior product compared to anything that is on the market today. The 1st thing people look at is the price, 2nd being brand and then quality. When we offer Festool products over the other brands we tell the customer look at it like this plastic is made for toys not power tools. When I say that I normally have to explain myself as most power tools and made of plastic. But you need to realize that when you use a Festool product is becomes a lifetime investment and not having to throw it away after 6 months to a year like most tools made today. When Festool builds a product it is not the cheapest priced product on the market but it is the best that money can buy and if you make a living with your tools even if you give them to a worker to use (we all know that when we buy a tool for someone that works for you they do not treat it like it was paid for by them) you know the product will last through the job and even carry to the next job with you and not have to budget tools into every big job you do. So basically what I am trying to tell the all the people that are buying tools based on price, you defiantly get what you pay for with Festool. I'm not sure what the poll is for.  However, there is no way to capture e-mail addresses from a poll posted in this forum.  It might have just been a misunderstanding of the function.
