Congrats and enjoy the moment have fun and laugh a lot. I just got married in April.

Congratulations and thank you for having the courage to share how your feeling.

Also a beautiful bowl, is it for the rings?

Enjoy and dance a lot.

I like laser etching a lot more now I have seen your movie.

Cheers Pip

No need to be terrified unless she's a Dundonian. Oh wait...
I'm 24 years at the end of this month. She's a Fintry lass and I've survived not too bad. Lost the odd tooth and most of the feeling down my left side but mostly we're happy she tells me [scared]

Seriously congratulations. My only advice is compliment her on how she looks the first moment you see her then again in your speech and have your speech well prepared!

Congratulations!

I hope that you enjoy each other, meld into one cohesiveness, and have a life of happiness filled with time for each other and also time alone - need those Festool moments you know!

That bowl is for a drink, to be passed amongst friends and loved ones. I forget the toast in the native tongue. But all the best!

Nicely done.  I'm sure it will be a great keepsake from the wedding.  And so nice to have something you made in the ceremony.

On a related note, I ran across this the other day -

This couple created their own outdoor wedding venue in their parents backyard in Rockford, IL.  From farm sawn timber through pews, a bar, altar and arched windows...

Nippy, it might be a little late to try this for your wedding.  The Quiach may have to suffice for now!

That is so true best thing is that I am marrying my best friend which I feel helps oh and see knows I am daft about festool

I could see you and the new missus coming out the church to a guard of honour with raised guide rails! ;D

Congrats to you both though and don't do what I did in my speech!....we were doing some work in the house at the time and I used my speech to drop the bombshell that the carpet fitter had phoned to say that he won't get finished on time but that she would definitely get her underfelt by tonight!!....still makes me chuckle yet!

Ha ha Scott that is brilliant ha ha I would love a guide rail of honour 2.7 rails come on festool hook me up

All the best for the big day.  We are 17 years today.  Doesn't seem that long ago when we exchanged rings by that beach in Cancun but time passes quickly.  Enjoy every moment & take nothing for granted.

Alan.

Congratulations mate.
We are 43 years married next week. One daughter, son in law, and 2 grand-daughters.

I find it gets a lot better after the 42nd year... [eek]

Congratulations, hope all goes well.

Did you manage to sneak any Festools on wedding list?

John

Congratulations to you and your wife. A few tips from my experience on a successful marriage:

  • Leave notes for her with nice thoughts on them from time to time.
  • Never go to bed angry or upset with your spouse.
  • Don't let things fester.
  • Get the family finances in order or at least make sure each of you know where you stand financially and keep it up do date.
  • Think about things as ours versus mine or hers.
  • Even if you know you are right, assess the magnitude of the overall situation before letting her know she is wrong. There is no reason to dispute meaningless items.
  • Assuming her needs and requests are reasonable, it sometimes is easier to comply with her wishes.
  • Leave the decorating to her.

Best of luck to ya mate.

Remember there are to things that lead to a happy wife, happy wife means happy life

1) yes dear
2) I'm sorry

No matter what!
