Wera bits and Centrotec?

Anybody know if these Wera bits fit into a Centrotec chuck? Tempted to get this set: http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=51946&familyName=Wera+KK+60+Stainless+Driver+and+Bit+Set+-+Imperial  and it would be an added benefit if it also worked with Centrotec.

Just by looking at the picture, i would say no.  As far as i am aware it is only festool or protool bits that fit in the centrotec chuck.

They look like standard 1/4'' bits with ball retention and those don't fit in centrotec holders.

Wera bits seem to be the easiest to modify to work in centrotec holder, did a #2 robertson in my drill press, took about 5 minutes with a flat and 3/8" round file.

Is it that easy in a drill press !  Anyone seen any videos on it ?

Sorry Woodguy didn't see it in a video, took some shots of setup and process. First pic shows mounted in drill chuck, second shot is rounding tips on hex, third shot is reducing hex to the round diameter so it will lock in centeotec holder. The last pic shows stock wera bit, then modified wera bit, then centrotec bit, then modified metabo bit. Had drill speed at 1200 RPM, no loose clothing and wear safety glasses. A couple of shots are a little blurred but I think you get the idea.

Like Junk, I "Centrotec'ed" a bunch of bits including some Robertson bits (including a Kreg bit).  I blogged about it long ago before I started making more photo-rich entries.  But it still describes the process with pictures for doing it in a drill press.

Thanks guys, might give that a try.  Never thought about using a drill press for that.
