I’m curious to understand better - I thought you guys are in Canada. Aren’t these (and the TSO products) made outside of the USA? Why does it affect prices in Canada?

Yes, this is a curious one that I, personally, didn't expect. According to Wera, US tariffs are in place that are impacting manufacturers from the EU, supplying products to North America.

TSO Products, on the other hand, are made in the US. However, we have not been notified of any tariff-related price changes yet from them. SawStop and Powermatic have warned of price increases due to tariffs, and we've also been notified that Whiteside router bits will be impacted.

I mean, I get it if they (SawStop, Powermatic) are shipping the product from Asia to USA first and then shipping to Canada, but if it's going direct o China then (I presume) the tariff wouldn't affect those shipments.

My guess is that the Sawstop distribution center for incoming ocean freight from Taiwan is in the USA (Oregon)and then sent onward to Canada.
