What are the big differences between Carvex PS420 and Trion PS300?

Please do tell! I have compared them at Festool's site, but honestly I must be missing the big differences?

Lots of bases, power, available in cordless. light and a bigger number.

I don't have one, and I won't be upgrading my trion soon, but I think these are the main differences:

Brushless ectec motor, which means it's lighter with more power. It has an automatic setting on the speed dial.
Built in light, which also has a strobe setting, so it looks like the blade isn't moving.
Quick change bases, of which I think the angle base would really be an upgrade.
The plug it connector on the tool can swivel up, so you have more manouvrability in tight work areas.
The first carvex also featured a blade guide that didn't need manual calibration, but they replaced it with the older system after not being able to get it right.
The dustcollection opening looks like it doesn't clog as fast as on the trion, and the slide down window seems much more practical.

A bit more info is probably fair ...

I have a Hitachi jigsaw that's not bad ... I didn't go for a 300 to replace it. I did get a 400 mains and a 420 cordless. I do love the CARVEX (CARVEXi ? plural?)

Maybe ... I still feel this was a varied issue as my 400 hasn't been a problem.

I have the cordless 420 Carvex and the corded Trion in my opinion you get faster tighter 90deg cuts with more power even though its 18volt, in reality a much better jigsaw.
