What does the pdc set com with?

I preordered a 18/4 PDC Set from Woodcraft.  They called and said it was in and that I could come in and look at it,  but couldnt purchase it until June 1st.  When I opened the systainer  I notice depth stop chuck was missing.  Does the set come with the depth stop chuck?  It had the jacobs chuck, angle chuck and the centrotec chuck.  Ive noticed Festools web site has not been upgrade since Shane left.  I know on Festool Products site it shows the depth stop chuck coming with the PDC.  Other sites do not show it with the depth stop chuck.  Anyone know?[attachimg=1][attachimg=2][attachimg=3][attachimg=4]

I wonder why the Set that I ordered didnt come with the depth stop chuck?  It has the same model number as the Set listed on Festool Products.

I don't think it comes with the depth stop chuck.  I know the link that RLJ posted shows it is included, but I looked on the tool home site and isn't listed in the set.

I went on all the online sites that have the preorder option and toolnut/festool products is the only one that list the pdc have the depth  chuck. If you look at the lable of the pdc I ordered it has the same model number as festool products,  the picture on the front of the systainer does not show it included even though it says Set.

According to the literature I have access to from Festool, the PDC set (564 597) contains:

• (2) 5.2 Ah Li batteries
• TCL 3 charger
• Right-angle chuck
• Centrotec chuck
• Centrotec bit holder
• FastFix keyless chuck
• Side handle
• T-Loc Systainer Sys 2

What I have seen lines up with this information.

I think that the picture is from a "Set XL" that is available internationally and that includes all the chucks. The Set does not include the depth stop chuck.

As the Basic and the Plus versions have different pictures, its a shame Festool chose to give dealers a picture of the $600 Set that includes items not actually in the set---  to get what they show will actually cost $700  :-\

My pdc (in the UK), came with a depth stop, it's the bar that goes through the side handle, could this not be what they are referring too?

I have just checked 5 uk dealers sites and the depth stop chuck is not included in the SET version. As far as i have seen in the past, that has always been a separate purchase.
Festool uk don't list the depth stop chuck in the SET version either.

So the chuck may well have been thrown in Peter's drill for review purposes?

On mainland Europe (not UK for some reason) there is a Set version and a Set XL of the PDC. Only the Set XL has the depth stop.

Don't know what pictures you've seen, but Festool USA is a bit careless sometimes with what pictures they put on their website or supply to dealers, giving the wrong impression.

The pictures you provided above seem to be the Set version. Not the XL.

What makes things confusing, is that the product number on the systainer 564579 is of the XL version in Europe. Festool USA is not following the international Festool standard again. So if you google 564579 you will get different results depending if you're on an American or European website. Don't know why Festool USA does it like that, don't they understand www means WORLD WIDE web?

All of the different options of the PDC do not come with the depth stop chuck. That is sold separately.

Thanks that clears it up.  I have a feeling Festool Products will have a lot of angry  PDC customer's on there hands, being there description lists the depth stop with the drill.

Since the product is not yet available for sale, I do not think anyone can claim a bait and switch. However, it is a bit careless on the part of Festool. They do need to get this cleared up before the product is actually sold.

That's not what I am suggesting, this specifically says on the FestoolProducts.com website "This set version of the PDC 18 includes the optional depth stop and right angle chucks." which if the OP hasn't received, then they should be sending him surely? Nothing to do with Festool's marketing.
