I noticed the T-LOC latch cover on the side.

And the fact that the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the vehicle!

[poke]

For use on the correct side of the road [wink]

That's very nicely integrated classic latches there Phil. Looks good.

Look a bit closer and you will find some other familiar items form the Festool range.

Looks like an impact bit in the top of Radiator cover, rear lights are possibly Kapex laser buttons and a variable speed dial for a tow hook?

Yup...spot on.
I have made two so far, one for each of the Truck Tours. All of the kids in the family have ended up with a toy truck of one type or another, it make a change now and again.

Great stuff, the kids will become adults to remember festool from a very young age

And the wheels are from a CT?  Front wheels.

Peter

Not quite. I bought the wheels in and turned some discs to cover the centre. Will see if i can find the pictures from the 2014 version.

Isn't the steering wheel (wrong side) the gibb adjustment from the TS saw for snugging up on guide rail.

Hi Phil

I love the truck. As the steering wheel is on "our" - did you make it?

We have 2 grandsons already and 3 more will arrive in the next 6 weeks. So, I think that gran and granddad should have one for visiting children.

Do you have any plans? Do you know where the wheels came from?

Many thanks.

Peter

Hi
The wheels come from here http://hobby.uk.com/
Also provide cool service.
The steering wheel is part of a plug-it lead section. I keep away from plans and 'free style' if the cab looks correct then the rest will follow.
The one below is from the tour last year
Doing well for Grankiddies!!

8 x t-shirts and 3 tops (first photo) LEV-1400, LEV-800 digital, beanie hat, 2015 calendar, tape measure, head-torch, 4 x rulers, 6 x pencils, 2 x ballpoint pens, cutter knife, 2 x safety glasses, Rotex watch with presentation tin, 2 x key-rings and a stress ball.

I bought maybe 3 of the t-shirts, both the levels, the torch and the watch, but everything else I have been given by the people I buy most of my tools from or at Festool roadshows.

90th anniversary. So maybe those '90' T-Locs will show up on lots of tools this year?

Seth

The new latch might make it hard, for dealers, to sell a tool with OUT the "90" latch.

Besides the empty wallet  [tongue]  I've got a Festool domino game

Further I have the more common stuff, like the CTL mini car, towel, pen, cap etc

Just found this at home, was a Christmas gift from Festool that contains chocolates I believe, needless to say it is empty now.
