What festools would you bring /suggest for a porch decking ?

If you are going to screw from the top you will have to predrill and use stainless 3" torx head screws. Smart bits work the best, they will drill and countersink at the same time without marking surface. I built my deck from cumaru which is very close to Ipe. My procedure was as follows. Made up a drilling jig to predrill all boards, Predrill and then drill with smart bits. (extends the life of bits. Light sand then 1 coat of Penofin oil before install. Lay boards, and put screws into bucket of soapy water for lube. Screw in boards but watch for knots in joists. (you may break a few stainless screws). I used over 1600 on my deck.

Let me explain the situation : My children (as I was as a kid) are member of a youth cooperation, a bit similar to what you call in USA the "scouts"
Their premises are in bad shape and need a huge renovation, a number of friends and I decided on a voluntary basis to cooperate, do some painting and renew the terrace (the deck that is in very poor state) .Since none of us are professional woodworkers and being a member for some time on this forum, I posted a simple question. ( by the way , what saw blade would you use/ buy for the ts 55 to do this job)
I thank and appreciate all the the members who provided me with helpfull information.
FYI: the motto from this youth cooperation is:
"We try to leave this world a little better than we found him"

Good luck to Nico. I agree with the post that suggested bring everything. I went to change a lock last week, was in my other van, had no drill......
Just as an aside (irrelevant to Nico) you would of course need a Domino for invisible fixing of the deck, provided you can afford the exorbitant price of the domino deck fixings.

The thread to your title is interesting. If you can, you should bring all of your tools. I was building this 450sqf deck 3 feet of the ground but had very little space left for tools after loading the truck with the supplies. I ended up taking my basic tool bag, trion, ras 115, panasonic cordless drill, 4 foot level, carpenter square, pic and shovel. I came to understand the beauty of the trion and the Festool blades, I was notching 4x6 and trimming deck with ease. The RAS 115 permitted me to square off my cuts if needed and scrib. Since them I do not take as many tools for my deck projects.
Please send pictures of the project and list of tools you used.
