I had to completely disassemble my Festool Domino XL DF 700 because there is no official Festool service center in my country. I identified the broken component, imported the replacement part, and installed it successfully.
Now I’m preparing to reassemble the tool, and I need to know the correct grease specification for the internal gearbox and gears.
Does anyone know:
• The exact grease type Festool specifies?
• Is it lithium-based, synthetic EP, molybdenum, or something else?
• NLGI grade?
• Any specific Festool part number for the grease used in the gearbox?
I already contacted Festool support but haven’t received a reply.
I’d appreciate any technical information before reassembly.
