What grease to use in a Rotex gearbox?

Hey all :)

I am currently replacing the big ball bearing (the one that holds the sanding pad) in the gearbox of a Rotex 150. The previous owner had somehow managed to wrap some string around it which ate away the seal, so the bearing filled up with dust.
The gearbox and its gears look very well and clean, though all the yellowish grease is dry and sticks to the outside wall, with no contact to the gears, which seem to run dry.
The residue of the grease has the look and consistency of bees' wax.

What grease should I use for reassembling the gearbox? Is MoS2-grease ok, or do I need something more viscous?

Cheers!
Oliver

Hello, the gearbox meaning where the rotor meets the movement gears, should be 7grams mobil ep 2 grease. The other gears that are for changing the mode near the bottom bearings, are of low importance and load,so maybe 1-2 grams of any grease not too liquidy.
Hope this helps
