what green splinter guard do i need on the TSC55 REBQ ?

looking online there is a few different shape outboard splinter guards and they don't all look like the one on mine which came with the saw are any better than others ? and can i get the wrong one?

but the top, hooked part which holds the sliding, captive nut is the other way around ?

these look like they will have better splinter protection which is what i want and it looks as though they will fit the TSC

The splinter guards for the TS 55 and the TS 55 R/TSC 55 are different. You can't use the ones in your last post.

You need P/N 499011 for the TS 55 R or the TSC 55.

P/N 491473 are for the TS 55 and TS 75.

Not to change the direction of the thread, but just wondering how often people change their splinterguards?  Since the kerf of all the 55 blades is the same (unlike the 75), I haven't yet had an issue with the splinterguard wearing out.

Changing them out is more dictated by the thickness of material cut.  I write on mine the thickness of the material and interchange on critical cuts.
