I've plugged in my OF 1400 and TS55 to my CT22 without any problems, the rating on the plug socket says 2200 Watts or 10 Amps.  I have seen users plugging in there Kapex saws into the outlets however.  Does this exceed the socket rating?

Are you in the United States?  The reason I ask is that appears by general rule of thumb a rating for 220 volt service.  Here in the US with 110 volt a general rule is 1500 watts is 15 amps.

The internal wiring of the CT vac will handle the full load that you can draw from the house wiring. That means that if you set the vac to low speed, you can plug in larger items. The limit on what you can plug in is determined by the circuit breaker in your house (so long as you DO NOT exceed a 20 amp circuit breaker). The limit printed on the front of the vac is the legal limit (UL requirement), but is not the electrical limit that the vac is capable of providing.
