What is the for on CMS?

I bought a CMS used and cannot figure what this is for.  It’s on a chain underneath the CMS base unit.

It is for locking the saw trigger on if you have the saw module.

My 1010, 1400 and 2200 all have on tool trigger locks. Do some of the older router not have this?

Dunno...the weird thing is that the item is NOT identified or even mentioned in the owners manual or supplemental manual, yet there it is.  [smile]

Mine came with the TS75 module for the CMS. Does the same thing some velcro or a string would do, keeping the trigger engaged.
