What is the TPI of the M8 thread used by Festool?

There is a M8x0.5 / M8x0.75 / M8x1.0 and M8x1.25....

M8-1.25 for clamping elements, Parf Dogs, etc. Seems to be the metric "standard" coarse thread.

You might also want to read up on the metric thread system since it differs from the imperial threads per inch system. Wikipaedia is a good start and there are some really good videos explaining the differences on youtube. (Just read up on this last week)
