What is this clamp/mount?

I found this clamp and mount in a drawer of clamps, and have no idea what is for/from. The clamp itself is a $15 Good Hand GH-302-F. The mount is a nicely machined and black anodized piece of aluminum, clearly intended to work with something. One end had a button head screw with the head protruding slightly over the cutout/groove. The other end has a setscrew with a spring-loaded ball plunger. I have some black anodized Trend and Seneca stuff, but nothing that seems to fit.

Thanks, Dick

Seems to be able to slide on a rail and the detent ball then holds it in place, some what temporary.

Did you have a frame of some sort where this could have been used for wood working or welding ? Or machining, live a wood CNC machine.

Could it be that you picked it up at a garage sale or estate sale ? And just didn't get the remaining parts ?

Yes, exactly.

Only frame sort of thing like this I have is the Trend Varig, and it doesn't fit, nor do I see anything like it on the Trend site. (Well I do have a Festool MFS setup now, but it obviously doesn't go with that!) Never had a welding frame or CNC.

Quite possible. Another thing is that this was still sealed in a plastic bag, but no identification nor instructions with it.

I do have a lot of Incra, Woodpeckers, and Kreg stuff too, but nothing that seems to fit.

Thanks, Dick
