Hello,

I found this in my domino systainer - looked and looked at the domino and accessories to see if I could identify where it might have came from or broken off, but I have not been able to identify it. Any ideas? Pictured on a 6x40 for scale.

Thank you.

It's the cap/plug that goes on the top if the slide. They come off easily. I think it's a game – if you still have both of them after wearing out one of your Domino cutters you get a free box of Domino tenons in that size (broken cutters don't count). But I can't remember where I read that...

Though not what they're designed for, the plastic caps are useful when mounting and using the machine in an upside-down fashion.

Mike is correct. And, they are made from disapperium. They are made so they fall off the machine when no one is watching and become invisible.

Yeah, cap to the slide. One of them came off of the first DF500 I had. It took a few months though. A little drop of CA glue fixed it right up. The other side stayed on fine for years before being destroyed in a fire. Neither of the ones has come off of my new one. I got it in Sept of 18 and it has gone through more than 3000 6mm Dominos. Apparently they have figured it out.
