what size systainer for the carvex?

I am designing/building a sysport and was wondering if there is a place the tells what size systainer comes with which tools.  I have several future purchases in mind and would like to build it with spaces for the new ones.

The ones I intend to purchase soon are the Carvex 420 (barrel, corded), the Carvex kit, the RAS 115, and the RS2.

Maybe there is a web page that identifies what systainer goes with what tool

My Cordless Carvex came in a Sys 2  but i would think a corded version would come in a Sys1

The corded version does come in a SYS 1 and it is the only version available here currently.

Just check the Festool websites. On the page for each tool it is mentioned in which systainers it comes.

Seems Festool USA lacks this info. There are more Festool websites though to get your info. For instance http://www.festool.co.uk

You're correct Shane. It is a Sys3 for the cordless, Sys2 for the accessories, and Sys1 for the corded.

I stand Corrected yes mine came in a Sys 3..... but since i bought the Tool only i have no charger and had been considering moving it all to a Sys2 hence my thinking it was Sys2

Hi Guys,

i read this forum all the time but havnt really posted much. I just got the cordless barrell grip psc420 and its awesome the dust collection is great for a jigsaw.

It came in a sys 3 but i have moved it to a sys 2 as i dont need to carry the charger with me into the clients house it stays in the van.

i love the fact that the jigsaw accepts my c12 batteries nimh to my protool 18v
