What to finish Ziricote with??

I made this iPhone stand/ring tray for my wife, and am wondering the best way to finish it.  I wiped it down with Acetone and it went very dark, which is fine, but wondering what i put on top?  I was thinking shellac, but all i have is a small (unopened) can of BIN.  can i cut it down with denatured to thin it?  or should i even bother?

I have other things, but ultimately, i want the wood to show well and feel warm.  Was thinking that i put some shellac (a few layers) to help "seal" it a bit, and then cover with some wipe on satin finish to keep it "warm".  It is a Valentines day present so time is of the essence.

I don't have the most experience with oily exotic hardwoods but I did make a table out of cumaru that came out really well. I got ultra blonde shellac flakes and made a 1/2 lb cut and wiped on a few coats to seal in the oils so they wouldn't affect the finish. Then I wiped on a few coats of general finishes arm r seal in satin and it came out looking great. Very warm feel to the wood and no built of poly look. The urethane finish has held up well to toddler feet and beer glasses too.

Thanks!  That was about my thought as well. It doesn't seem to weepy, but you never know how things are going to be a few days/weeks/months from now.

I also use supper blonde shellac flakes and mix just enough to get a very thin liquid.  I finished Rosewood and other oily woods with Arm-R-Seal Semi Gloss over the shellac.  I let the shellac dry for 48 hours before using a very thin coat of the varnish.  I make a ball of paper rags in the middle wet with mineral spirits covered with soft cotton and dip and wipe once along the grain.  Let dry and repeat several times.
