What would you make?

All this wood would normally be cut up into logs for fire wood!  I couldnt believe it!  but they decided to see if they can make stuff with it and sell it!

So here we are!  

About 65% of what you can see is Cedar and 25% is Oak and rest is bit of Ash and Yew I think.

So question is what would you guys make with this stuff?!?!  

It is all Green by the way! So interior furniture is out of the question really.

How are you goin to charge them for your labour, are they just gonna pay labour and hope they get the costs back on sellin the items. Sounds a bit risky for them but grea for you.

I'd go with garden furniture, fancy planters, log stores,

Looks a great oppertunity to keep dry on wet dys

I think you should make wooden models of Festool tools or wooden models of wildlife that look very realistic.  Just my 2 pence.

Letterboxes, birdhouses, firewood storage boxes, toddlers see-saw, kennel, drinks trolley, bar, pool lounge, barbecue stand.

Shame your limited on time.

Those are some great slabs! And this sounds like a strange job  [tongue]

They (who is they?) can't wait and dry it? I've never worked with green lumber before, it seems a shame to limit the use of it.

The slabs would make nice benches around a modern looking pool.

You could also use them to make some high backed chairs, very straight lines, again a modern look.

I would think that you could make a lot of garden benches. / low tables.  With your skills you could use dovetails to try and control major cracking in the tops using the live edge boards and use some of the dressed timbers for the legs and structure.

UK style is very very different from across the pond.   I for one don't like the Wayne edge smooth epoxy filed tables and chairs.

Table and chairs like that will be very hard to sell in the UK AND they take more time which as you might already know I lack.

Them hand crafted chairs would be fun to do (once) but not very profitable lol

I been looking and was hopin to get ideas for things which are nice but don't take to long to make but do look well.  

I have made a few things already but my camera is playing up for some reason but I'll try and get pictures.

I do want to make more complex things but 1 or two days  like mentioned by Matt D inside ''The work canopy" isn't ideal to start making more time consuming furniture.   If I had my work shop built this would be an ideal job!
