Santa, in the form of my wife gave me a new TS 55EQ, but the grinch working at the local Rockler store forgot to give her the guide rail, so I have to bundle up in the sleigh and run down tomorrow to get the rails.

I'm sure my promise to start to build her a new kitchen ASAP had nothing to do with this!  ;D

Merry Christmas!

Steve

I received a ETS153-3 finishing sander to go with the RO150 and DTS400 I currently have. No piece of timber is safe from smoothing and finishing anymore!! ;D

Santa brought an MFS.  Worse than 'some assembly required', I have to confess I'm not sure what it does when its assembled. ::)

Looks like my holiday reading is going to be Jerry Work's MFS manual... That is as soon as I finish making three more Christmas - I mean New Year's presents. :D

SteveO, a required trip is like a hidden gift!

Rob let me know how you go with that, I was looking to add a sander in the same hole in my collection.

Jesse, you are going to love the MFS. It's a little bit of a juggle to figure out how to set it at first, but it does work well. Did you get the 400 or the 700?

Yes, but it kept me from going down to the shop and "breaking it in". ::)

Unfortunately, Ole Santie brought me nuttin but he did stop by and PROMISE me the Kapex and MFK 700 by the end of the April, 08. Apparently the elves are behind.  :P Fred

I reported in the "Christmas Fishes" that THE BOSS SANTA is taking me to the toy store to take my pick.

Oh boy, I can't wait for the doors to open. I am frantically going thru the catalogue and checking off the pages.    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nothing!!! But I did get an OF 1400, TS-55, MFT, RO-150, CT-22,  Centrotec drill bit kit, Festool drill, and a Domino thoughout the year so I told Santa to forget about me and buy something nice for the kids!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Tinker, I will PM you my CHECK list and you may then purchase and try them out for me prior to shipping them off. As per our normal agreement you may spend up to a full hour with each of the machines before shipping.  ::) Thank you again and your generosity is only matched by BOSS Santa's willingness to buy.  ;D I will of course recomend you to many of the other FOG members as this is truly a wondrous and very swell deal. :o :o ;D ;D Fred

Hi everyone and happy holidays,

I wandered into a WoodCraft store about a month ago and was blown away by the FesTool tools.  After seeing a demo of the TS 75 I knew that I had to have that saw.  I have always wanted a way to make long perfectly straight cuts with a skill saw type arrangement.  I think in that regard I have found the "be all...end all" of saws.  Santa or the Big Boss (if you will) was nice enough to make sure that the TS 75 saw and the 2700 mm guide rail were under the tree Christmas morning.  The TS 75 will make a nice addition to my Makita LS1212  compound miter saw.

This is a great forum with a lot of great projects and tips from a lot of people.  I have been reading every day for quite awhile.  I hope to be able to make contributions to the forum in the future.

Santa brought me nothing Festool for Christmas, but I did manage to purchase a set of Gerrman made metric twist drills while in Berlin!  My next Festool will probably be another sander - ETS 125 or 150/3 or RTS 400, or maybe a C12 if/when my Makita drill's batteries give up.  But I have plenty already to work with!

Nothing from Santa this year.......but then I've been a naughty boy....you ask Eli!

If Eli sends you nothing, I'll send you a few pieces of coal.  ::)

Since it seems like somebody got you back on the meds Larry, I'll send you a big box of sustainable sawdust. ;D

There's not much Festool left for Santa to bring me, so I found a Triton router under my tree (for the router table) and a woodcraft giftcard yielded a pinnacle table insert that fit the Triton perfectly (even has the hole for the crank).  Now I just need to build the table.
