I am wondering when all of the Festool tools will become available in the new T-LOC systainer.  Especially the following:

TS 55 EQ Plunge Cut Circular Saw
OF 1400 EQ Router
OF 2200 EB Router
T 15+3 Lithium Ion Cordless Drill Set

or will it only come with the new Festool tools coming this spring and the older models will not be affected.

Thanks

Meezo,

Starting on or around March 1st, we will begin the transition to T-Locs. There is no definitive schedule because this transition will basically take place over a period of time. So, I can't give you definitive dates for those.

All new tools, beginning with the RO 90, will have T-Loc only. No option for the classic Systainer.

Meezo, you can be sure the moment these tools in T-Locs are available to us dealers, we'll be letting you guys know.

I saved the labels and inserts from all the Systainers I sold, so I am ready when the time to comes to go with the T-Locs!

Shane,

I'm planning to order a Domino Set and the Domino Kit Monday and both were back-ordered from Bob Marino.  Since they're coming from Festool warehouse stock, is there any way I could get both as T-Loc? Worst thing would to have half and half since I'd probably keep them together. Pretty please?

Wow Tom, you're stooping low by trying to pull the Shane card..... [big grin]

BTW, anyone remember the post about being able to print labels for the new T-Locs?

Tom, while I wear a lot of hats, order fulfillment's not my bag.  [wink]

All I can tell you is that it looks like we have completely sold out of the Domino and Domino assortment in classic Systainers. So, all new inventory orders by dealers should come in T-Locs for those two products.

There are new product numbers for the T-Loc versions of all tools and accessories that come in Systainers. You would need to check with Bob on how he is handling the transition and what stock he'll have when he ships your order.

Just a note, we have discussed this internally and our intention was to ship like-paired Systainers for the Domino and Domino assortment for this very reason.

Sorry, I guess that was low [unsure] but Bob didn't know what he'd be getting.

Since he was on back-order for both, I was hoping new shipments from the warehouse come as T-Locs. Sounds like chances are good then.

Will the tools in the old systainers be "clearanced" in the coming weeks?  I might bite on a RS2E, but I'm willing to pay the extra $15 for the T-loc . . . or even better get the old systainer at a discount.  I only have a few hours to submit my order to Bob.

What tools in Classic Systainers?! Seriously, we're nearly sold out of all of them in Classic versions. I would guesstimate that about 3/4 of tools are shipping in T-Locs now.

So, the shorter answer is no. There will be no clearance/discount/etc. of Classic Systainer versions of products.

If you're wanting to beat the price increase, I'd order before the end of the day for sure.

That's my problem, I'm worried the RS2E is part of the 1/4 that is still in the classic systainer.  Plus, I want to hang out with the cool kids and their new T-locs  [tongue]
