Where has the original Sys cart gone?

I've been looking around online and noticed the original sys cart is suddenly nowhere to be found other than Ebay but the sellers don't ship to the U.S.

Anybody know where I can get thus cart or have it shipped internationally?

I can't find the part number but it's essentially the same as the Makita macpac.  I do see Amazon DE does ship the MacPac cart, I haven't figured out shipping cost yet but honestly would prefer a tanos white or anthracite or even Hikoki green.  I just can't stand that teal color.

If you’re talking about the one prior to the latest version, that’s a 495020. I needed the previous    version as it’s almost 2” narrower than the current version. I searched all over and found probably the last 2 in the US at a store in Alaska.  [smile]

Does it have the slide latches  --- one on each end? Or does it have four stretchy rubber connectors?  "Original"  can be dependent on knowing all the versions that were made.

And just to add to what Seth mentioned, some places discounted them. The two I purchased in Alaska were discounted $30 each but the $75 shipping charge quickly took care of that bonus round.  [sad]

Well, they replaced a product with an updated version which for 99% of users is inferior, so of course the previous version is gonna sell out quickly. I bought the last one from the local Toolstation. If I need another cart I'll get the Makita one as I don want the space waster that is the current Festool version.

I've posted here a couple of times WTB, hoping that someone had some they had replaced with the newer versions. No luck, I thought it was just me that wanted the original ones with the stretchy things Seth.

I have a couple with the stretchy things, a couple with the slidey-things, and a couple of Sys3 versions with the latch (y thing?).

The stretchy thing models have the smallest overall footprint.  They also have smaller casters than the slidey version and the latchy version.

The latchy version is ever-so-slightly narrower in overall width compared to the slidey version, but deeper front-to-back.  At a glance, they look larger in both dimensions, but the specs and my tape both say different.

I think I have a stack of tires on one of my stretchy models.  I got it used, but it's still quite a bit more expensive than a wooden trolley cart from Harbor Freight. 

All of the Festool models roll much smoother and nicer than the HF or Menards models, though.

So I have three: two original ones with the stretchy rubbers, one 2nd gen with the side latches. That one is way easier to attach Systainers to. The stretchy things are kinda permanently attached to a certain Systainer.

You are mostly correct about that.  By that I mean that the newest generation can fit a classic systainer, but it can't latch it in; it just kinda sits there not too secure.  I thought about mentioning that after the most recent post, but got distracted by a squirrel.  Each generation has its pluses and minuses, for sure.

The "2nd gen" cart is still available in Europe in the TANOS version.

But yeah, seems stock is running out slowly. Have to get one more before they are off completely.

Seeing the newest version doesn't attach to the classic sys nor Makita's version of that... I think it will stick around. At least in Makita color. On Amazon.nl it is/was the #1 in rollers .

I googled to see what the old style Sys-cart was and could not find it.  But the Sys-roll looks good to me.  It works as a cart and a handtruck
