ive been doing some maintenance at the housing in swedish quays, the docks ceased to function in the 1960/70s
until yesterday i didnt know the history of the dock and its relevance to carpentry
it was at one time called greenland dock, when whaling died out it became THE dock for timber imports from the baltic, russia (before communism) and from america
when it was built it was the largest wet dock in the world and could take cunard liners
