Where to buy Festool 27mm vacuum hose

They aren't the same. The newer ones are way more flexible. My ribbed D36 is an Anaconda that wants to lay however it itself wants.... my smooth D36 hose can be coiled up tight and will stay that way.

So Bosch makes a 35mm OD anti-static hose, ID is close enough to 27mm.

The material in old/new hoses may be different but the size/shape/connectors are the same and that is what OP is concerned about. I had both taken apart - the CT-VA uses the bare D27 hose and I was integrating a PlugIt into a D27/32 hose, the D27 ends are the same sans/with the braiding. No "magic" of some special diameter stuff involved.

BTW, that Bosch hose has atrocious connectors and is overpriced even compared to the Festool one.

I'm told Festy discontinued the 452878 hose in 2018, for the love of god, why? If any of you Festy dealers have any laying around, please let me know.

Hi E.,

I have an old green anti-static D27 non-tapered hose in my personal shop that I'd be happy to replace with a new tapered one. Then again, you can probably find a Festool user much closer to you who would be willing to do the same.

Yes, geometry the same, but other than that not the same.

The Bosch hose is 5m
