Has anybody received their Woodpeckers framing square yet? I thought I would have got it by now. I think ship date was mid-December sometime.

HAHAHA!  Don't feel bad.  I live 20 minutes from the Woodpecker shop.  I've got a shipping date for LATE  January for the  640mm  and  850mm framing square set that I ordered back

in September.

Same here.  They just charged my credit card but when I check the order status on their website it still says order received. Hopefully it will ship soon.

I just got a backorder notice again this week, giving a mid January ship date. [unsure]

It's probably better anyways, my credit cards are never happy this month!

I logged in to FOG this morning to ask the same darn thing!
(And now I'm wondering if the 26" square was an unnecessary indulgence...)

I suspect you could sell it here pretty quickly

Joseph,

Maybe you posted it already & I missed it, but I'd love some more details on that shelf unit/room divide/door in your avatar pic!

(sorry for going off topic).

Just got my carpenters triangle Thursday and it was ordered July 3. They could not tell me Monday when to expect precision squares ordered July 30. Only said they were just now shipping.

I waited five years for my kayak! By the time i got it the economy had tanked. I put in for one for my wife and she was first on the list, so she only waited four months. Just think how muchmore appreciation you will have every time you use it knowing there was no instant gratification. [poke]

Yes, I would take it and I already have one purchased in the original run a couple years ago.

Mine was delivered yesterday.  I was a little surprised - the surface has a sort of mottled or flecked appearance...  It is certainly not the end of the word - anyone else's like this?

seeing how you paid a high  price , I'd contact them If that was mine , If mine looks that I contact them for sure
I haven't got mine yet

I just checked my large square (August 2012 one time tool) and it's got white flecks. My 1281 square has them too and it was purchased at a local retailer.  I have one of their Woodworking Rules and a few sets of their clamping squares that do not have flecks.

Truthfully I've never been that impressed with their anodizing. Reds are all different and there seems to be excessive random orbit sanding marks. In the end I figure it's the precision I'm after and that's always spot on. If you want pretty and precise Bridge City is the way to go.

Got an email from woodpeckers yesterday stating there was an issue with billing the card I gave them when ordered. It was my bad , that card is no longer good. So I gave them new card and my woodpeckers square was shipped.

I wonder if the metric squares are running behind the imperial?  I still show "order received" on my July 31st order of a 660.
