There was a video review of Vecturo on youtube in which it was smartly pointed out that while the plunge base lacks a much needed depth stop, one can make an improvised depth stop by sliding Christmas lights hooks onto one of the rods of the plunge base. One can stack as many hooks as one needed to achieve the desired depth limit.
It is my understanding that X-mas hooks may come in different sizes. I went to my local Home Depot in hope to pick one that looks about the right size, but they told me that this is a seasonal merchandise and they do not keep it in stock in the middle of summer. I found some on Amazon

but I am worried they may be too small. The round part appears just big enough for wires.
I wonder if anyone has recently bought hooks that work with Vecturo online? Perhaps you still have the make/model or link to share?
Home Depot employee suggested an idea of a flexible plastic tube from the plumbing department. If I cut it to length and cut a slit along its length to be able to open it up and put onto the rod, it will most likely work, but the adjustability would be a problem. One has to have a set with different lengths for different plunge depths. I keep this idea as a backup option for now.
