It'll go down like this...

CMS North American release (just before...)
End of the world
Carvex re-released
JMB stops making videos on the Ti15

[wink]

Just after the end of the world I hear the vac sys is scheduled for release in NA, just before Canadian and US prices are to be synchronized.

Mind you if you had asked me three years ago, I would have said pigs would fly before Man City won the championship but we all know how that went!

So there's always hope.

Shane and Ken,
You forgot the other two events: 1) when donkeys fly, and 2) when pigs whistle.

[big grin]

I wonder how many of my kids Im going to have to sell to be able to pay for a CMS when/ if it comes out?

Don't worry, it will be half the price of what it costs in Europe since they have been subsidizing it for us for years!

I can't choose one.  ???

I think Carvex re-release, NA CMS release and JMB stops making Ti15 videos all happen at the same time..... causing End of the world.  [scared]  [eek]

Here' a prediction ...

At a point of time in the near future, JMB is carrying every Festool he has ever purchased from his van into a job ... observing his utter contempt for OH&S, he trips over a ladder he left on the path from his last journey and drops all of his Festools on the ground. The massive gravitational effect of the concentrated Festool collision creates two sub atomic particles that spin round his head for a couples of cycles, then collide - annihilating our universe and creating a new one in which both the CARVEX and CMS are available in NA. Throughout all of this, JMB's video is running and he posts the event on Youtube - suggesting that the entire drama is because of a fault in the Ti15.

They'll be gray-haired adults by then...

What is the price of the CMS in Europe and what does that equate to approximately in US dollars?

You can check EU prices on any festool.co.uk/.de site or places like www.gerchwitz.net for online pricing in either £'s (UK) or €'s (Germany) and do a currency conversion.

For example the CMS-TS55R-set (includes the base module, TS55R saw, TS55R insert, sliding table addon and a angle fence) goes for 1240€ at the moment. Which translates to about 1520 US$ according to Google.

You can't expect any foreign pricing to help you figure out what it might sell for here.  For all anyone knows, Festool might price the entire CMS setup for $499 to tick off Kev.  [big grin]  [poke]
