Which Festool tool to get next?

I wanted to ask a question from people with a lot more experience with festool products than me?

I currently have a CT dust collector, and RS-2e half sheet sander, DF500 domino.  I recieved an MFT/3 and TS55REQ for christmas.  I was also given a gift certificate.  What tool do you think would be best next.  I was thinking the RO150 because it can be used for fine or rough sanding needs? Do you think Paralell guides?, or lr-32 would be better.

Any comments or recommendations would be welcomed.  I just starting to build my Festool Collection.

Well you will probably end up getting one eventually but it's a large sander but I wouldn't call it an everyday sander. Unless you are sanding a lot of lot of solid wood panels wider than 8 inches it may be more sander than you will use often. Depending on the size of your projects it could see regular use across a range of projects I would also add the ETS 150, and DTS or RTS 400 as consideration.

Do you think Paralell guides?, or lr-32 would be better.

IMO, the parallel guides and LR-32 are task specific and it depends on what you are planning to build. Whether you will use them as much or as soon as a sander is depended on the projects you have planned.

I am sure others will give you more choices to consider.

Get a CARVEX set and a RO90.

Later, maybe the OF1010 and LR32 + parallel guides.

Later still the OF1400 in a CMS setup.

Somewhere in there a KAPEX and a sprinkling of CXS, Centrotec and maybe the new PDC18-4 will have arrived.

I always recommend to buy tools that you need for what you are trying to build.  Ask yourself,  is there another tool that would make this build a better experience and is it a tool that I plan on using more than just this build?  I know a guy who buys a new tool for everything and ends up with a bunch of tools that just collect dust.  If he would have rented the tool that he needed, then he would have saved a lot of money and have a lot more space in his basement shop. ie: He bought a panel saw to make his kitchen cabinets and has the saw just sitting in his shop getting old.
I use my ETS 125 for every job.  I like it because it is very light, making it easy to hold sideways for long periods of time, and it has a short stroke for fine sanding.  I know that many people hate sanding, but when I use my ETS125, I really enjoy it ...it's very relaxing, almost meditative and does a terrific job. Hope this helps.
