Hey, where did my Rotex go?  No, it is the yellow one. [big grin]

I really like pink, it deters more people I think.

No wonder why they gave Darcy tools to test.  Not only does he work the tools to their physical limits, but also their emotional limits.  Imagine how that Rotex must feel!  [big grin]

Wait till Festool sees their loaner RO90 and CXS when they come back from him.  Pink, yellow, silver sparkle.

Now that is JUST WRONG!!!  [eek]
Not sure how you affected the resale value. Could be a special edition collectors item now.

Great idea! I think tonight I am gonna bedazzle all my Festools!

I think that's Darcy's way of ensuring Festool never wants their demo's back. That is horrible but it works. Maybe we'll have to start a 12 step program for Darcy's loaners. I used to work with a guy that bought cans of that poly something or other stuff that you dip a tool in and it hardens to a solid plastic around the tool. He used it for wrenches, hammers, etc. Actually worked really well. I never used it though.

Anyone who gets their Recon tool orders and see something Pink or Yellow when they open their systainer know who to thank for that  [big grin]

It's not mine. [big grin]  It is a guy's that frames custom houses in Oregon.

I just wanted to show a framer's mentality about tools.  He paints stuff to know it is his and to be able to easily identify it.

It might make it more prone to growing legs though, people would think it is a dewalt and that must mean it is good. [blink]

Next thing you'll see is Darcy on the job site in a pink tutu.   [blink]  [eek]  [scared]

I really doubt that.  I've heard tutus aren't as popular as they were 10-20 years ago, though I wouldn't be surprised if his truck was pink to deter theft.

DeWalt prototype, but theirs keeps the pad stationary and the sander spins.

And to think the RO 150 FEQ built up wrist strength!  This would be quite the carpal tunnel making Dewalt prototype!

I know someone who paints his tools yellow for identification purposes, but I suspect a different color would have been a better choice.

Pink might work though...

;D
