Made this counter today. It's all white gloss laminate. Used me TS 55R, Kapex and OF 1010 to make it. Have clean the contact glue over spray off the panel in the morning. There is opal Perspex going into the groove in the front of the counter that is back lit with led strip lighting.

Very nice and crisp lines. Did you use dominos or is it all rebates and what fixings did you use?

Nice work. Pretty unforgiving material, isn't it?
Does your gloss lam come with a protective film, from the manufacturer?

Ya it's a very unforgiving material. It comes with a protective film. I like the film on it as it save overspray from the spray contact glue from sticking to the finished panels. One slip and it's ruined alright.

Has anyone ever had an issue with the Laminate expanding a day or two later after you have filed all the edges dead level? I was just checking the counter I made and the laminate has slightly expanded since yesterday. I had it dead flush yesterday and today you can feel you finger so very slightly catch the edge of the laminate I applied by hand yesterday.

Yes, happens now and then. I think it's the substrate shrinking, but could be wrong. Seems more likely than laminate shrinking/expanding.
When we got our new edgebander earlier this year, the trainer told us to try and edge your board the same day as you cut it. If left overnight, the board swells at the edge very slightly, just enough for the sensitive trimmers of the edgebander to catch, which can leave a fine line between board and edging. Maybe a similar, small amount of swelling, then shrinking, causes the laminate problem?
