White oak side table completion

Got a new piece up on the website. It is a side table made of solid white oak. Part functional and part sculptural. The rear leg is attached by way of a bentwood joint which allows some minimal degree of movement. The other bentwood piece locks it in without restricting the movement too much. I wanted to have the rear leg be able to adjust slightly as it makes contact with the ground. Instead of securing the wings of the top to the rear leg it now is cradled. All of this is meant to be a design object so these elements belong as much to its aesthetic as its actual use and function. Some of the build process can be seen on the instagram link below.

Very nice work with interesting lines!  The attention to detail and craftsmanship on the legs is excellent.
 
Cool tables!  Do the 3-legged tables have a center leg that folds up? Can't quite figure it out!

But definitely interesting design.
