[member=20329]Gerald_D[/member], I'm not Bob but I used to live and work here so I know the lay of the land. If you want to stay in Lebanon, most of the options are over in town if you head east on 32 and turn north onto 39 (or Lebanon St). Then go a few miles and you'll run into most of the restaurant choices. Parky's is one of my favorites in town, pulled pork and chicken. Also, El Mason Mexican which is across the road from Parky's. There are some other choices in that same area along that strip of road. Once you get to Parky's, that's the end of town, so turn around. Nothing but corn fields after that. [wink]

The demos and hands on are great but there will be a cultish feel to it that is somewhat creepy and much like what I imagine any specialty convention would be (Comic Con, Star Trek, etc). It's amplified by the tool collectors versus the hobbyist versus those who are in the business.
Don't get me wrong going once has its merits and gives you a perspective of FOG membership.
