Why isn't this fiber cutting blade sold in USA?

Looking at the Festool worldwide site and noticed they offer a fiber cutting blade.  Just wondering why it isn't offered here in the states?  Last time I checked especially here in the south.  Fiber board and hardy board is rather popular and easily available.

That blade info page states that blade is for a AXT 50 LA Saw rather than a TS55.

The blade and AXT 50 saw are made specifically for "hard building panels and cement-bonded fibreboard", while the TS saws are not. Festool does not want to encourage you to use your TS saw for such work as it might ruin it.

  Alex, I have not searched what is unique about the AXT 50 saw when compared to the TS saws. What can you tell us about it?  Here in the US, I see both saws and shears being used to cut the fiber cement type siding products.

Must have missed your question, sorry for not replying sooner. What is special about the AXT 50 saw is that it was made with extra tight sealings so that it won't be affected by the dust from fiber cement.

As for the most popular method to cut fiber cement over here, I don't really know, I never work with that stuff or know any people who do.
