Why no long quick clamp?

I've got a couple of the short and a couple of the long screw clamps and maybe a dozen of the quick clamps.  While in the shop today I recalled (I was sanding, I had a minute) that they don't make the longer clamps in the quick clamp style.  Anyone know why?

I could clip the end and put the quick clamp on it so I can have one if I want, I'm just curious why they don't since they have all of the pieces already to do so.  ???

Not sure why. But I made my own.
