Someone told me that a BPC 15 and BPC 18 can be charged on same charger, but is the BPC-15 battery interchangeable on a T18+3?

I have 15 & 18 volt Festool tools. I use 15 volt batteries on my 18 volt tools often. I have never had any problem. If the battery will mount to the tool, it is ok to use it.

Same here.  I actually have a C12 and have verified it will run my T-18 and other tools after I got it.  There are keyways to prevent you from putting a 15V or 18V battery into a 12V tool, and to prevent an 18V battery from entering a 15V tool.  But they work in the other direction, just at a lower speed and/or time.

I actually use the C12's extra battery for my Sys-Rock quite a bit, rather than "waste" an 18V battery on it (although I have plenty of 18's now, and only the 2 12's)
