Just checking.  I have 2 of those batteries and if they'll work, I wouldn't have to buy a new separate battery.  Thanks!

Hi,

Although I'm not Festool, but I can answer your question: No, CXS batteries will not work with the SysRock.

It's a little confusing for someone who doesn't know about discontinued models/batteries, because the SysRock will actually work with "old style" 12V batteries that share the same interface as todays 18V. Thats why they put "works with 12V" in the description.

Kind regards,
Oliver

The SYSROCK can use batteries from 10.8V to 18V. However, the battery for the current CXS doesn't fit the SYSROCK. To give you better look, I've attached two pictures of the battery next to the back side of the SYSROCK.

The batteries for the 18V drills will generally be your best bet. Obviously, you'll also get more runtime from them.
