So, my father inlaw had his 67th birthday, and with him loving wine and not having a winerack i felt compelled to do something about it.
A quick, rough, build. Meant to stand in the basement, and to get all dusty. 60" high. All White oak.
Three "frames" with gridwork, put inside a bigger frame made of the legs and bracers.

Sorry about crappy pics, forgot about pictures until it was in place in the basment at my inlaws.
Funny thing, I made it thinking a 4x4 grid (16 bottles) would suffice....you see where i went wrong? Do you?
Yeah....and for some reason my mind was full on convinced it held 16 bottles...up until i i had given the gift and we were admiring it together over a bottle of wine...
Good thing it was good oversight
9 bottles extra is aaaaaall good
