In the Netherlands electrical wire is usually sold in cardboard boxes. They contain 100 meter of copper wire (2.5 mm).
The wire is pulled out from the middle. It always curls up and gets tangled. It is rather a hassle to get the excess wire back in the box.
when we use 5 wires at the same time it usually gets very messy. Don't like em.

I have been looking for wire dispensers on the internet and did not find any I like. Because most of my tools are in systainers I would prefer a wire dispenser in a systainer. Couldn't find it on the FOG either.

I tried to make one myself:

A lovely, neat solution to a totally unnecessary problem.  With the exception of Comms cable (which is dispensed in the same manner as yours) all our local power cables are dispensed from plastic spools.  Using a corresponding plastic crate prevents all those annoying "twisties".

What about your heavier cables:  SDIs, twin actives, twin & earth 4mm, 6mm, 10mm square etc?  Surely they aren't centre-dispensed as well?  That'd be a nightmare!

In the Low Countries cabling with wires covers 90% of all uses. It is required to go through conduits (pvc and abs mostly). Other types are mostly 'selfcontained', eg for linking circuit boxes you'd use 5-core (or more) cable. The rolls these come in are impractical to store in a systainer.

The boxes shown have a feature that should help dispersing without hassle: the central hole in the cutout — you are supposed to thread the start of the wire through this. The OT probably dislikes doing that as much as I do.

But with 5-wires I was thinking of the cabling for a 2xL, 2xN cooking outlet (Perilex). Then you would need 2x Brown, 2x Blue, 1x Green/Yellow. You replace the two black rolls for that?

Where do the center plastic hubs come from?

Hi Greg,
The center plastic hubs are two types of end-caps for 110 mm pvc sewage pipe.

One is for glueing and has an internal diameter of 110 mm. The other one is for use with ring seal fittings (called a rubber manchet in Holland) and has an external diameter of 110 mm.
Best ones in Holland are made by Dyka. (But I'm afraid that information is irrelevant to you.)

Just a DIYer. Last weekend I was pulling some #10 wire for a water heater it was a real pain not having a real holder to pull the wire. I was alone which made it even more fun. A rig like your would make it simple and trouble free from ONE person.
