seems much better tool. I for the life of me could not figure out why the festool one did not have registration pins on the table to just this. aligning by laser is temperamental and relies on eyesight when this would just set and forget.

Plus the laser has to be accurate, which isn't always the case for some owners.

I've never needed to use my transfer device. But at $220 Cdn or so, if I lost it I would not buy such an overpriced replacement.
