Does anyone recognise this wood species below? I think its cherry but not sure if cherry can grow this large. Unless its an American species.
I originally thought I was getting walnut. Someone else purchased them on my behalf.
These came from a large furniture manufacturing company which closed down. Mainly due to the weak euro in the last few years. Yes a lot of jobs lost locally which is sad.
The bottom one is 3m x 0.5m x 0.050m thick. Have another two this size also and a few other pieces they threw in.
Still trying to decide what to make with them. [unsure]
