woodnet.net security certificate??

I am a member of the forums at Woodnet.net and when I went to visit the site this morning (and again just now) there is a warning that says, "Warning.  Potential Security Risk Ahead.  Go back recommended.

Is this likely because they let their security certificate expire?  Or is it something else?

SSL Labs shows that the certificate is expired as of Sun, 25 Jul 2021 22:04:28 UTC.

Its probably a simple attention lapse for someone who does not want the responsibility in the first place.  But still I'm going to wait a few days and let them sort it out.

This happened before, and it seems like it was around 365 days ago.... so yeah, they probably just haven't noticed it's time to renew the cert.

They did notice now.  It is up again. 

How did you check the certificate?
