:-\ Not certain if this posting belongs in this particular forum.  If not, would someone mind moving it to where it belongs...?

I received an email from Woodpeck this morning, touting their Labor Day Weekend Sale.  Here is a snippet of the email...

Are you looking to save big on the tools you have been drooling over for months or even years? Well, this is the week you have been waiting for. It's our 10% off sale and it's on right now! This sale applies to literally everything on woodpeck.com. Check out all of our tools from Woodpeckers, Incra, Kreg, Bessey, Whiteside, Wixey and many others. Don't forget to check out our specials page for some smoking hot deals on some new additions. There's just no better deal than this one. But don't wait too long, it only lasts for a week.

Use coupon code: [size=12pt]SALE10
[/size]

No affiliation, yada, yada, yada...

Thank you for that link.  I just loaded up on all sorts of items.... [scared]  The sale runs through Thursday 9th.

Was wondering what sort of discount one might get if one put in "SALE99" instead of "SALE10" !!!!  Hmm....... ;D

Probably a link to the "Bridge to Nowhere".

I see their "giant" router tables were "Designed for the original Festool MFT?s", whatever that means.

It means you can drop one in an MFT. I never saw the rationale myself. Made by Pinnacle.

"Pinnacle premium router table top is designed specifically to fit in the recessed area of a Festool multi-function table (MFT/3) replacing the perforated MDF plate."

nickao - I'm with you.  I figured it sat in the MFT frame, but I couldn't see why you'd essentially sacrifice an expensive frame like that to mount a router table top.  I guess it could make sense for the extremely space-challenged, but how easy is it to swap table tops ?

Just as a point of note, "Pinnacle" is Woodcraft's sort of umbrella branding. Many (not all) of the items they sell as Pinnacle are actually made by Woodpeckers.  Woodpeckers does not rebrand and resell under their own name, they are manufacturers.

Ya know, I posted the information about this sale for everyone to know about and take advantage of.  Guess who forgot...  Go ahead, guess!  Betcha can't guess...  [crying]

Problem is, at the moment, I really do not want to come up with $800 for my Incra setup which I will need/want for the Sawstop when I get it.  [crying]

Oh, Shane, could you add Incra to the spell checker?

Thanks.

Well, you don't need to buy everything you will want all at once.  They now have their PRL Precision Router Lift on sale too -- they have a newer model that makes this one obsolete, but at $199 on sale, this is a good opportunity to get a nice lift.

Be sure to note that this is the ORIGINAL PRL, not the current model that has a number of nice improvements.  If that works for you, go for it.  [unsure]
