Woodpecker Precision Triangles, Final Day To Order!

Ok Who got one and what do you think of them?

I got mines the other day (45 CM) and love it.

It makes for setting up the MFT a breeze.

Man thats one huge triangle.

Glad I got it.

Got mine friday.  You are correct, they are huge,  Haven't tried it yet.

I was surprized at the size and weight, but man can it align a MFT. Best thing made for that purpose in my opinion.

I wish I had got one , but I did order the 26 " & 18 " square on the next run offering  after the tri-angle so that should do me well .  [cool]

Still waiting on mine.  I lumped it in with a $500 order and still no shipping confirm on it.  [sad]

Was it metric?  When I called them they told me the metric ones were taking a tad longer.

I just sent them an email enquiring on the ship date and they responded that it would be in the next few weeks

Got mine last week, have not opened it yet!  I have a smaller version I have used to square my MFT. Great tools from Woodpeckers!

It was metric.  They told me it was likely to ship last week, so I'm hoping very soon now.

I have these on order as well (metric) I have never ordered directly from Woodpeckers, always thru a storefront. Do they send an email when they ship your order??
Thanks, Greg.

I ordered both the metric and the imperial (not sure which one I will keep) and haven't heard a peep out of Woodpeckers since I ordered them.  As I ordered them in July and they were originally slated to ship in September, it's disappointing that they have not bothered to provide an update even though it's almost the middle of November now.  At least they didn't charge my credit card so I don't have too much to complain about but it does seem like it would be pretty easy to send out an email to the customers who ordered them to give a status update.  This was my first order from Woodpeckers and I'm not too impressed.

On the other hand, Bridge City Tool Works sent me a free tool as a "we're sorry" when they botched a sale (which I didn't even notice) earlier this year.

I'm in the same boat- I spoke to them yesterday and they claim mine will ship end of the week

I have ordered direct from Woodpeckers on several occasions, for one time tools and also for in stock items during sales. No problems for me.

When my triangle shipped last week, I got an email and a second email with the UPS tracking number.

I agree. I have not been particularly impressed with the customer service at Woodpeckers. They wouldn't even have to send an e-mail, but they could include a little message on the "order status" page that they have on their site. In general, however, they don't seem particularly responsive. I e-mailed them a couple of weeks ago with a question or two (including whether I could still get one of their larger squares from the last one-time run). I have heard nothing from them. This was not the first time that I e-mailed them without getting a response either.

Michael,
We’re in the middle of machining them so there shouldn’t be a problem with adding yours to the list. I’ll have Mike from customer service contact you for details.

Subject: Precision Square Set 18x12 and 26x16 with CASE and Corner Jig - Deluxe Set

Hello Richard,

Was just wondering if you had any of the items in the subject line left over from production.  Am very interested in both sets.

Thanks

Michael Garrett

YOGO - what email address are you sending messages to? Try richardhummel@woodpeck.com, I believe Richard owns the company. I have emailed him a couple of times and received replies within a day.

I didn't mean to derail this thread.  I'm just looking forward to getting a shipping confirm after seeing these are shipping out, and as I said, I have a large order waiting on the triangles to ship.

If anyone has questions about the status of their orders or you're not happy with the level of service, call them.  I've never had any trouble reaching them to get an update when I needed it.  I've always been pleased with the end result as well.

Thanks for posting that Michael.  I've sent a few emails to the general inbox (regarding those products) with no response, I'll try Richard as well.
