Just got my freeguard installed.  Seems to work ok but need to get use to it.  Anyone increase the height of the plexiglass piece to accommodate thicker stock?  I'm thinking of just getting thicker spacers and just increasing the height of the plexiglass part.  Any reason this is a bad idea?

No starter pin?

The corner of the Freehand Guard can be used as a starting point.

I don't see any reason not to make spacers for thicker material, however, I would only use them when needed. Part of what makes the dust collection effective is the close fit.

Did you have to drill holes or did it fit existing holes?

I used right side starter pin hole.  on Incra insert its already 1/4-20 so i just secured it with one screw.  seems to hold ok

That's a Woodpeckers product? I think I have seen something so similar as to be identical by at least one other vendor, if not more?
No branding? Is in phenolic? or aluminum?

[member=7266]jeffinsgf[/member] thats how i found it.  watched the video and ordered it.  In case anyone is interested, i emailed customer service and they said that there are no issues with putting in a taller spacer to raise the plexiglass.

Update.  Woodpeckers customer service said that there are no issues with using taller spacers to increase the capacity
