Woodpeckers OneTIME Marking Gauges (US)

Looks like a really nice gauge.  I like the built in pencil aspect.  That seems pretty innovative.
I wish it had graduations and a microadjust like the Jessem Wood Sabre.
That's the other one I had my eye one.
Can anyone with the Wood Sabre opine on pros/cons of Wood Sabre vs. Woodpeckers?

This is a real nice upgrade from their previous 3 offerings that were scribe mode only.

I don't have a the wood sabre, but I do have a different micro adjust gauge and would not go back to a gauge without it.  I don't use the gauge's scale, as I dial in the final setting with the micro adjust (if needed).

This is the first thing in while that Woodpecker has come out with that I would like to have.  Unfortunately I just packed up my shop and will be on the road for the next year or two.

I don't understand the Domino feature. The video is not very explanatory.

The marking gauges come with two scribe wheels and spacers to allow scribing mortise/tenons in one pass.  In the metric version, the spacers allow for marking 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14mm apart dual scribe lines.  I believe that's the Domino feature.

Saw the video showing the marking gauge being used with Dominos. Why would you need to mark to place a Domino? Just asking...

Yea Ill be ordering the 6" version of this one. Im a sucker for this kind of stuff.

Get the Wood Sabre if you are looking for a quality scribe with repeatable perfect accuracy, thanks to the stops every 1/2" and micro adjust.

I own the Jessem already and plan to compare it with the Woodpeckers. That isnt going to help anyone after the fact though as its a OTT, so they wont be able to order it later based on any review.

This OTT actually compelled me to take a closer look at the wood sabre, which I think is better for my needs.  The WP has dual scribes, which is nice, but they can only be set at particular increments through the use of spacers.  A missed opportunity to, for example, be able to use the dual marking scribes with the gap gauge or kerfmaker.
The WP also has the pencil, which is cool, but if I need to be marking with a pencil I'd probably just use any number of marking tools with built-in pencil holes like a T-square or Incra.

The perfect luxury marking gauge for me:
Dual scribes that are infinitely adjustable and can be used with gap gauge/KM-1 type device
Micro adjust

In other words, if Veritas just stuck their micro adjust mechanism onto one of the shafts of the dual shaft marking gauge...

A little bumpsky -- order deadline is Monday for anyone interested in this OneTIME Tool. Thanks.

Any update from Woodpeckers as to when these are going to ship? They were due to ship in November...

[member=58821]ben_r_[/member] it looks like these are scheduled to complete shipping in Jan 2018 according to the Woodpeckers website.

I don't have any specific information beyond that, but could check on it for you.

Ah, thanks for that status page link. Ive bought quite a few OTTs and never had one not ship within the specified month so I never had to ask. Good to know they have been giving some status updates all along. Ill keep an eye on that page.

Quick update... The latest info we have from Woodpeckers is that we will receive our inventory for this item in the next 2-3 weeks.
