Woodpeckers super track

I just received a new woodpeckers catalog and the super track caught my eye.
What I am thinking is,will it work for a miter saw fence?
Will it accept the Festool clamps?

The book says it comes in a 60" piece, so one on each side will do nicely, but I want the option of t-nuts and clamps.

What say ye? Anyone try it yet?

Definitely works with the clamps. Don't see any reason it wont work for a fence. It is heavy stuff.

I have a couple chunks I use for router jigs with bearing bits, kinda like the MFS.

Clamps almost fit. You'll need to grind the sides just a bit, 0.1-0.2 mm or so.

Update:
Just measured. The t-slots in the super track are ~11.4 mm and my Festool clamps are ~11.6 mm.

I have a router fence Woodpecker's used to sell that used two lengths (each just under 18" long) of the Super Track along with two 90 degree brackets. These are nice parts, and are also great for making jigs. My Festool clamps slide in the Super Track just like they were made to fit. I use one of these 90 degree brackets at a Tee connection when joining my older 1080 and 800 MFTs, but sadly, I don't see where they offer that particular part any longer.

On Edit: I see they DO still offer that fence: Woodpeckers Super Fence

I built a set of Kapex extensions using Super Track several years ago.  They work fine with the Kreg stops, and t-bolt hardware.  Mine won't accept the Festool clamps unless you filed them down slightly.

Sorry, you are absolutely correct, I recall I did grind a tad off my clamps. Thanks for catching that.

Curious. My Super Track does work with the Festool clamps without any modification. I just checked again.

It's only 0.2 mm difference. I bet the clamps may vary this much between different production runs.

This is correct. And I just checked again and found that I do in fact have some Festool clamps that do not fit and would need to be ground.  [embarassed]  Yet, some of my screw clamps do fit without modification.  [blink]

I'm using the Veritas track for a larger MFT style custom table. Their track is quite sturdy and very straight, less cost than Woodpecker (which is generally if not always more expensive than most other options).

Veritas has flip stops and other attachments too,

How do you have that fence attached to the top? I have been looking at that fence but wasn't sure how to attach it.

I use a Woodpeckers rail on my holey table for a fence. It is held in place by Guide Rail Dogs from Precision. There are other brands available, but this is what I use. They seem to do a pretty good job of centering up in the middle part of the rail. Every time I check it, it is dead on.http://precisiondogs.us/products/precision-rail-dogshttp://www.qwasproducts.com/RailDogs.html

I've got this track on my drill press and it does quite nicely.

Peter, are using a custom mount for your guide rail? I'm intrigued by your setup since I have an extra Woodpeckers rail and guide rail dogs I could use like you are.

Rail dogs also. I can run them attached to the bottom of the rail, or off to the side, with the rail squared against them. I do not have an MFT table, but instead a table drawn up and cut on a CNC. Allows me a 51" rip cut at 90*.

I can't find that red anodized rail on Woodpecker's site.  What do they call it?  Is there a link?

Thanks.
