Thanks for your comments. I'm sorry I will not be able to give you more information because I'm swamped with work at the moment and woodworking is being displaced for a month... The only thing I can say is that the aluminium plate is very solid, but it will take me time until I fully try all the RB features.

I like the idea.  i have tried using two CT's.  One for front and one for back.  for what it is worth, there still seems to be too much dust escaping in front.  I am sure a 1200 cfm vac would solve much of the problem for front, but my shop s just too crowded to try working around all of those vacs and hoses.  I am sure there would be as much, or nearly, of same problems with the RB. 

Boiled down, the Rat (as well as the RB) is designed to do so many different operations, I guess DC has to be on the short end.
