A friend of mine, Peter Sefton, runs a furniture making school near Malvern here in the UK. He is having an open day on 28th November and I am going along, partly to return some items that I borrowed for some video work but also to make a short video about the open day.

I wonder if this is a first... I had to report myself to the moderators for not placing this in the Sales and Dealer Area when it was first posted !

Peter Sefton is a friend of mine and a well known craftsman here in the UK. His furniture school has a great reputation and has an online shop selling kit that he uses and recommends.

Anyway, I went along to the show today and it was well attended and I met loads of really nice people. I took my video camera and will produce a video later next week. Here are some still shots to give you an idea of what I saw.

There were some lovely pieces on display made by students at Peter's Furniture School. They have courses that run just over a day and going up to a year in length. take a look at this:

Their shop, The Woodworkers Workshop, has Incra, Woodpeckers, Jessem and much more. Many of these things are tricky to find in the UK.

Hi Ron

I very nearly took my credit card out when I was there. I had not seen either Jessem or Woodpeckers kit before and it is all very impressive. Luckily I was so busy that by the time that I had packed my cameras and sound kit up I had to leave for home. Little does my wife know how close I came to having soup for Christmas.
