Always enjoy going to this show. Been going for about 10 years now. Plenty of space at this venue. I've been there for many a computer show & hamfest over the past 25 years. The woodworking show does not draw as many as the computer show/hamfest did in the 90s. There would be thousands of people there for all three days. Used to be a good place to pick up surplus radio gear.

Bob,

Thanks. We look forward to seeing everybody there. There might just be some Festool Swag that is going to be raffled away during the show!!!

Just to let all of you know, we will have Sparktrician, AKA Willy in our booth at the Woodworking Show in Baltimore on Sat. Jan. 6th from 9am-3pm. We look forward to seeing everyone at the show. Come and chat with all of us, pick up some stickers, posters, peanuts and maybe a tool or 2!!

Thanks and Happy Holidays to all of you.

I attended this show today.

I think the highlight was seeing the Shaper Origin hand held CNC router. I had a small twinge of tool lust, but nothing too serious. If one did a large project, it seems like it would require a lot of the tracking tape.

Woodpecker did have some OTT for sale. I am not sure which ones were for sale, but I assume everything on the table was for sale since all but the hard anodized square are supposedly no longer available for pre order.

Rockville, MD had a Tanos Sys 2 combi with drawer inserts for sale for $99, a saving of >$50 I think.

Show was good. It was too cold for Woodmizer to run their sawmill I guess, it didn't look like there was any activity there yesterday from Noon until I left at 3PM.

Didn't pick up much. I did find a nice Stanley #18 bevel gauge which is one that has been copied recently by a few. It is in excellent condition and will be a nice worker, I don't buy tools as collector items, I like to use them for their intended purpose.

Stopped by Ridge Carbide booth to say hello. I have some of their blades and send all my blades to them for sharpening since they are fairly close to me. I did find out they sell blades that fit the TS55 and 75 saws as well as the DeWalt track saw.

I don't know who built that Cat excavator that was sitting at the entrance to the show but it must have taken years. I think it was 1/8 scale.

I didn't see Makita or DeWalt represented which is the first time they weren't there that I know of but Hammer had a display which I think was a first, at least I don't remember seeing them there in the past.

We want to thank everyone who made it out last weekend to see us at the Woodworking Show. We had a great weekend.
